Pete grew up in East Charlotte attending Independence High School where he excelled on the State 4A Championchip Cross Country team and was a member of the Marching Band of the Patriots. He attended The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he studied the field he dreamed of working in, graphic design and fine art. Upon graduating however he chose a career with Target stores due in part to his belief in what the company stood for and strove to embody for their teams and their communities.
After 25 years as a leader with a background in operations, business development, merchandising, human resources and personnel management, Pete has changed his career focus to make a more personal difference in lives of those he serves. As a real estate broker, he feels he can make much better use of his skills in sales, his focus on detail and his persistence to drive for the best outcome for the client. Pete takes great pride in helping his clients find the best home on the market and enjoys the feeling of success when his clients are pleased with their home purchase.
He currently resides on Oak Island with his wife Beth, their four beautiful daughters and their dog Orphan Annie. Beth has a flourishing business as a cake decorator and the owner of Keys In a Pod Designs. She enjoys raising their four girls to be proud, confident and loving southern belles and making the best cakes on the Cape Fear Inlet.
